In planning for the 2040 strategy we have to recognize that our world will have changed significantly, by then the energy business will be more competitive, and technology will bring both opportunities and threats for Kuwait's Oil Sector and Kuwait.
Kuwait's Oil Sector has been vital to the prosperity of Kuwait for almost a century, therefore our responsibility today is to become an organization that is ready for this future. With Kuwait Oil Sector Management support, the K-LEAD journey will move on to its second phase, with a new learning style that varies from the first phase. It will include the use of innovative blended learning techniques to help every leader take what they know about leadership, apply it in the most effective ways, and share the learning with colleagues.
In 2014, we started the K-LEAD journey, which helped us deepen our understanding of leadership. In the next phase of K-LEAD we will be joined by the newly-promoted managers to continue that leadership, to focus and apply the knowledge, to the creation of the organization we need to achieve the 2040 strategy.
